About Family Practitioners

Family Practitioners is a GP surgery located in Dunboyne and Dunshaughlin. Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available directly outside the surgery.

We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups.

We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as CDM, OCF , asthma and children weight/height assessments.

Our standard consultation is for a duration of 10 minutes.

During this consult our doctors can safely deal with 1 issue. If you have more than one issue, we are happy to book an extended consultation. Be aware, however, that an extra fee will apply.

This may appear unfair but as well as being a medical centre we are also a small business and the service we are offering is 'Doctor Time' and like any other business, an extra fee will apply. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel in advance. Non-attendance and cancellations at short notice without a valid reason deprives other patients of essential medical services and a €25 fee will be incurred as part of your next visit.
